With the housing market growing the way it is I can understand slight increases in rent. The new company that took over manangement at scottsdale greens startes paining the exteriors and adding little amenities in the vacant apartments. While the new tenants were paying the cost of the upgrades and receiving them, our rent was going up over two hundred dollars! When we told them that if we were paying the price for the new apartments, they were going to have to make ours a "new" apartment, we were told that the aparments were being upgraded as they became vacant. This complex went through three management changes in just as many years, and the staff became a little more clueless and a lot more helpless with every change. While my maintenance request were always filled promptly, I had to call back numerous times for the same fixes. As far as the living space, they are just not worth the price. The kitchens are horrendously small, our tub was old and dingy so they just painted over it, and the carpet and floor to ceiling closet mirrors are just dated. Just keep looking and I'm sure you'll find something better in the area.
