When I first moved into what was then Scottsdale Greens I had a pleasant experience. Though the walls are thin, they aren't any worse than other places I've lived. Management at the time was enjoyable and maintenance was timely. In my 2 years living there (I recently moved) I saw no fewer than 3 management companies, each worse than the previous. The grounds and pools are poorly kempt now and it takes several requests for maintenance to do anything.
When I moved into the property the pricing was very affordable and worth the product. I was eventually priced out of the 1 room apartment I had been renting and decided it just wasn't worth the $750 . The current renovations are a joke at best. Yipee! A mini tv in the kitchen! How about a new dishwasher (preferably one that works) and oven'
The gates were closed about 10 full days out of the 2 years I lived here. I wish my car HAD been stolen, it would have lined my pockets as they advertise as a gated community when it is most certainly not. When I moved out it took nearly 3 months to get my deposit check and only got it after several calls and a personal visit to the manager and refusing to leave until I was given a check for the full amount.
Save yourself the headache and go across the street...
