The only good thing about this apartment complex is the location. Close to old town Scottsdale. Otherwise, nothing good. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else. The management is aware of the poor ratings it has on this site and rather than fixing the problems, posts messages at the mail box area to write good reviews on this site for $25 off next month's rent. Horrible! Is this all they can think of'
Gate does not work and probably never will. Billing and accounting system is so screwed up that all neighbors ended up with a letter in their door a few months ago asking them to pay "late fees". A complete error with no apologies. Hope you will get your initial deposit refunded' Think again!
Maintenance' Better do it yourself, because relaying on the management would be a mistake. Every appliance is old and outdated with poor energy efficiency. Insulation either does not exist or is very poor. You can actually feel the heat trough the wall in the summer time. This results in high electrical bills (about $180/month in the summer with air condition on 4 hours / day).
Safety' We had police twice in a month coming and arresting someone, so tenant screening does not really work well with apt. management.
So if I would have to live again in an apartment, Scottsdale Springs would not be on my list.

ha! you are so right on. However! If you threaten them with lawyers... telling them that the conditions there are well under healthy living status (hi? BLACK MOLD IN THE WALLS!)... they pay your full deposit. :)

There is nothing good about this location unless you enjoy living in a crime ridden area of town where the inmates are running the asylum.
