The only reason why there are good reviews for this complex is because they take money off your rent. The only reason why I'm still here is because the location is great and the rent is the cheapest in this area. The front office staff could care less about the renters needs. If I have a repair request sometimes the staff doesn t turn it into maintenance. Normally you have to call more than once to get something fixed. It takes about a week or more to get something fixed. My air conditioner had a very bad leak; I had to empty buckets out every 2-3 hours, after a week and lots of phone calls it took the guy 15 minutes to fix it(not so hard but yet a lot of work especially for me). My kitchen light was out for two weeks before they came and fixed it. I don t understand why it takes them so long they have like 100 maintenance people working for them. I see them all the time ridding carts, walking, and sitting around the apartment complex at all hours of the day and late evening. The worst thing that has happened to me was that I went 20 hours without a toilet or shower in a one bedroom apartment (which I believe is illegal). I don t even want to write about it because I get pissed off. This is only some of the stuff that I went through I could go on and on about noise, parking, cleanness, and rudeness but I m tired of typing. When my lease is up I think I would rather pay more money for rent that put up with this.

They are required by law to maintain the premises. When you deal with these slimebags make sure that everything is in writing and document everything. If you need repairs, put it in writing, at the bottom of the paper include a line that says "hand delivered to _____________________". Make 2 copies. 1 for you and 1 for them. When you walk it up to the office, ask the person what their name is. Write it into the "hand delivered to_______" portion so that you have proof later on if they claim you never submitted a request. Also review the landlord tenant laws regarding health and safety. I think they get 5 days for health and safety issues. Also use a video camera to document the problem. I would hold up my cell phone in front of the camera to codify the time of the recording. Serve the front office with a paper that states that the lease shall be terminated if the fail to make repairs. Dr. Evictor will send you a form telling you that you are a moron and have no grounds to whine or complain. If they fail to make the repairs then you can pick up and leave. From that point onward, it becomes an argument as to whether or not the reason you left was truly a valid health/saftey reason. They will claim it was not valid and you will claim it was. We had our videos and proof of our noticies sent over to Dr. Evictor and Scottsdale Greens capitulated. Very annoying process. Not for the faint of heart, but it can be accomplished if you do your homework and prepare to defend yourself in court (should it come to that). They will not let you out of your lease quietly even if they are completely in the wrong. The people who run the place are low life dirtbags.
