Another nightmare. DON'T MOVE HERE!

Today was just another nightmare at Scottsdale Springs. Been having problems with people parking in my assigned spot and the guy at the front desk had a lot of nerve. He told me it was my responsibility to leave a note on their car and that he "didn't have time to argue" about it with me because he was busy as all the managers were in a meeting. He then briskly hung up on me and left me to deal with the problem on my own. I was so upset!
Not to mention there have been some "policy changes" that occur rather suddenly costing us more money last month than we anticipated.
Oh, and there is garbage laying all over the property that lays there until I finally pick it up and take it to the dumpster myself.
It is ridiculous. We Scottsdale Culinary students that live below us that practically smoke us out of our apartment and play extremely loud music at all hours and there is "nothing" that the front office can do about. We have ants in our kitchen and there are so many "holes" in this apartment that the AC runs constantly and kills us in our electricity bill.
Please, there are so many other nicer places around here. Don't make the same mistake we did and get yourself locked into a lease in this dump.

We had people parking in our space all the time too. It was like living with a bunch of carnies. We also had ants in our apartment as well. At our current apartment complex each resident is given a tow card so if someone parks in our spot we can call out the tow-truck and have them removed. I have never had a problem. The people living at Scottsdale Sleaze know that they won't be towed so they don't care; they will park in your spot. We also had ants in our apartment. I highly recommend that you photograph and video-record the ants and submit written demands to the front office to have the problem remedied. If not, you may have a health claim to terminate your lease. Show your pictures to a lawyer and see what they think.

You are absolutely right about the noise. I have someone below me with a stereo right below my sofa. I cannot even be in the living room when they turn that thing on. This place is old, poor construction, no maintenance, and no management. I have also gotten the "I don't care" attitude from management.
