Years at this apartment: 2009 - 2009
I have lived here going on my third year. I started out in one of the townhomes but moved to an apartment b/c of the cost. The electric bills in this complex are ridiculous, my bills are always over $200. Also, the front office receives one water bill which then gets divided up among the number of occupied units, so my water bill varies from $30- $50, which is b.s. b/c why should I have to pay for the people who are constantly running water' Also, the noise is a huge factor. I have kids, so I am not a happy camper when the party people are rolling in around 2:30- 3:00 a.m. whooping it up with all their friends. I was thoughful enough to get a ground unit so that no one would have to listen to my kids thumping around, but the college girls who used to live above me were 10 times worse. It just seems like people could be set around the property in a way to accommodate those with kids and those without. I never have a problem with staff, they are always nice. I think that my rent is reasonable right now as I got the unit on special, but think that the regular rates could stand to come down for both townhomes and apartments. I wish they had storage units available on site for the apartments, as I am spending $80/ mo on a climate controlled storage unit about 2 miles away which is inconvenient when I need to find something. Parking is pretty ridiculous. I have never felt unsafe, but I will say that the lighting by the grill at the pool is non-existent. Also, the washers and dryers need seriously upgraded to front loaders in ALL the units. It would be nice if the refrigerators were bigger to accommodate the different family sizes.
