I lived here for 6 months. For the first few months it seemed ok. Not long after that, I was getting notices on my door almost weekly! From everything to noise, trash that had blown by our apt door, cigarette butts, dog that was visiting, etc. These people are too happy to put papers on your door about everything! I had to put in a work order for a new kitchen light bulb! After 4 days, I finally went to the office and was promptly handed a light bulb! What was I paying rent for'' Putting in in was another catastrophe! The banister for the lights was busted and duct taped! Needless to say, light never worked again. Did they fix it''' NO! 4 months with no kitchen light! I had a leak in the bathroom ceiling. 4 of the maintenance guys came over, spackled it, then came back the next day and painted. Fix the leak'' NO!! Whenever it rained, water would run down my bathroom wall out of the electrical box! And we were downstairs! So now there is mold in the ceiling in both places! It is a horrible place. I guess if you can stand Lori, the ----- in the office, who isn't the manager but sure acts like it, and you can deal with the 7 or so maintenance guys who have no idea of what they are doing, and you can stand the upteen pieces of paper on your door, then this is the place for you. For me' I would rather live in a cardboard box in the park! Another thing......I was told I could not have my Border Collie mix there because of the weight limit. Yet there are dogs there that are much bigger than her. I was told from the Mgr "those ppl must have a doctors note to keep their pets with them." Trust me.......these are not service dogs that are there..... They let whomever they like to have pets! I had to pay a pet rent and was told I needed $200 deposit for a cat. Yet my neighbor 2 doors down has lived there for a long time and has never paid a penny for his.....He is only there because SSI is his only income.... And as far as safety.....Numerous lights have been out over the complex for a while but I guess they are so busy repairing other things that those come last. Parking is a nightmare! You have one reserved space......Everybody else parks in it. And no room for your guests........

It never goes without saying that a tool like this is helpful and more times than not sometimes hurtful. These people were from day one a distraction, loud, rude, filthy, disrespectful, inconsidrate to all their neighbors, and by a majority of their neighbors considered to be a cancer living in the neighborhood. As many low lifes do, as does a theif in the night...these people moved out without notice leaving their apartment a trash mess...just as roaches do after they nest. The scary thing is the man that lived their had what appeared to be a fetish for young boys, which need I say is a very chilling thought and many neighbors had observed this and were very concerned to the point of notifying the authorities. I as many respectable residents do have nothing but positive things to say about the entire Sun King Staff and feel it is a wonderful place to live and call home. It's to bad that trailer trash sometimes finds it way in, but when you break the rules that you sign an agreement to follow, you receive a note about your violation. If you continue to violate...you are eventuly asked to leave. Simpley to live by the rules is sometimes more difficult for people that don't know, that they don't know, that they don't know...these kind of people are hepless and continue to wander from one place to another. Just as these people have done. I feel for the people in the next neighborhood they go into and hope these will people watch their children. By the way...it's to my unerstand they both work at neighborhood Frys- the man, if you want to call him one, at the 61st. St. & Thomas Rd. and woman if you want to call her one, the Indian School and Miller Rd. stores. I would recommend the people that read this disregard the peoples comments listed above and take a positive look at Sun King...it's a great place to live.

It is pretty sad that the so called Sun King office staff still have to write good reviews about them selfs to make them look good? Get a life and a real job!!!!!!!!!!

I lived there for a year and never had any problems. I was a very happy resident and the reason i am reading this note is because i am going to be re-applying for residancey in the near future. Granted, things can change in a few years, but i look forward to returning to the sun king. mike henry

This person that posted might be bad news, but some things are undeniable and can be seen in even the positive posts: there are bugs and lots of them, the apts are small and smells like smoke, most apts have water leaks and water damage, and the staff can be every nice or very mean. I would never live there again. The cons are more convincing than the pros. Despite my low low income, I made saved and budgeted to get out of there.
