I am former military, and once I got out, I moved here to scottsdale from FL.
I have mixed feelings about Sun King...
Currently, I am going through a divorce, and it is hell trying to get management to work with me and my bills/cancelation of the lease.
They don't really care, and do not make execptions for anybody. If you have money issues....your up **** creek without a paddle.
All the reviews below me speak of roaches and infestation...I never had a issue the 10 months I lived at my appt. I don't think I saw a single roach,or any body spray the whole time I was there.
My studio apt was small, but the balcony overlooking the pool was nice.
The apts were very very quiet, and the whole time I lived there, I only saw my neighbor , and no body elce out side.
I smoked cannabis, with 4 to 5 people outside, while being quite loud, many times. I never had issues with neighbors complaining.
I also hosted many parties in my apartment and my neighbors never heard a thing.
Everybody was very nice, and the movie collection, is quite good as someone before me said.
The only issues I have, is the fact that I resigned the lease...and a month later my wife left me and is filing for divorce.
They don't give a crap what so ever about you, unless they are getting your money.
The fix-it crew that seems to roam the apts and do nothing, are usually there if I have a problem. The next day, they come in and ask whats up...then check it out....then fix it.
In all honesty, I would totally live there again. Its just that college being on the other side of town...and then a retarded wife...I had to leave.
