Here it is a year later and we are still here. Why' Because we do not feel like moving...but it will more than likely be the last year. They at least did not raise the rent after 4 years in a row of raising. Perhaps it should even be put back down another $200. The vegetation is still cut down to nothing. Some trees having even been cut so far they are only sticks off wood with 2-3 little branches sticking out near the top.I guess they figure even pine trees etc should look like palm trees. I have a neighbor recently who was hassled about cats being outside. That is a crock! People should worry about that when they have stopped people's dogs from crapping 5 ft from a persons front door and left to stink. It is not the worst place at all, but all things considered I would rather live elsewhere. They also have a new assistant manager who is a female Nazi through and through. No emotion at all! That is all for now.

My apt is in perfect condition and well looked after. I have even paid money out of my own pocket at times to take care of things. And yes, I do understand the so called liability of trimming trees a certain way. For for Gods sake...some of the trees are a stick of wood 20 ft high with a few twigs at the top. It is called over trimming because you must give them an excuse to be there. I come from a professional background working with landscapers and this would not be tolerated in most other states. I know several people who left JUST because of the over trimming. Equity has become a money hungry entity who is scared of anything involving a lawsuit. There are many nice complexes out there who leave things in a natural condition-this is the desert and as much as shade as possible is needed. But I assume since you are a member of management and not a customer, it does no good to tell you anything. Only a few more months then BYE BYE. I have the money to go anywhere I want, and my wants will take me elsewhere.

I am really sorry you are unhappy there. Just be aware that apartment living is not like a house. You have to understand that. And, no , I am not an Equity employee; just someone that gets tired of hearing people complain and blow things out of proportion. If it's so bad there, why did you and do you stay?
