i have kids toys all over the ground where i live and i contacted my attorney to find out who is liabe if i was to step on one of them and he told me he wanted to see pictures. i often find toys on the lower steps of different apartments and i think it is very dangerous. people have reported these things and myself have seen no changes.

I think there are more vital things in life to worry about than toys around the area. Talk to the kids and let them know if they leave their toys out, they could get stolen. It works for me.

Considering I also live at this apartment, I can agree with the poster that their is a serious problem at Tatum Place. On one such occasion, a group of children sat on the steps of my apartment and threw rocks at my front door. On another occasion, these same children yelled some foul language at me so I took out my digital camera and took their photo. On another occasion, one of these children approached me near the mailboxes and swung a piece of wood at me telling me I was not allowed to pass. Turns out the wood was leftover from the maintenace people working on an aprtment & just leaving their supplies out for the kids to play with. I complained to the office, but got an attitude from them ever since, along with them ignoring my maintenance requests and losing my mail.

Just take the toys. They'll learn if they want to keep them, they should put them away... considering they are on public property, I bet the parental units won't be able to get all pissy with you about it, either. Might solve your problem :)
