Since I moved to this apartment August 2008, my monthly water, trash and sewer bill is between $80 to $100 per month. I sent email and made several calls to the utility billing company AUM, but the answer I got was I am being billed according to the size of the apartment and total number of occupants. The apartment is 2 bedroom, 968 sq. feet and we are family of four (Husband, wife and two children). Even most home owners in Arizona say that their water and trash bill is higher than them. So I suspect there is some fradulent business activity with this company and the apartment complex I live in (Tatum Place, 16801 N. 49 Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85254). Not sure who I can report this to investigate why the monthly water/trash bill is approx. $100.
DONT RENT AT THIS PLACE. Also if you have children, there is no place to play, no bicycles, no skateboard, no kids place to play. Don't get stuck at this place even if the rent is low, you will get ripped off by monthly utility bills. Besides the apartment are very old and there are too many break ins.
