How can you honestly hate living here'''

We have been here 2 years now, and we're planning to renew our lease for at least 1 more year. Obviously, if we're renewing our lease, we have not had the same issues as previous people.
In terms of management, I liked Millie (the one from vegas). I also like Carol (current manager). I have no idea why people don't like them, unless of course, they go after you for playing music too loud, being late with rent, etc. In the 2 years I have been here, Carol has been wonderful and I do miss Millie.
In terms of the maintenance, when we first moved here, this was a bad thing, but after about 2 months, they got rid of some of the goof balls and now, for the most part, they know how to fix something. Granted, these are human beings, so they are no perfect, and yes, sometimes things need to be done 2 times, which, fine. again, they are human, what they think might be wrong, could very well not be the case.
In terms of the apartment, all I can say is, for the price and location, the place is huge. When I first moved to phoenix, I lived in a 2 bedroom apartment that was 800 sq ft. No closet space at all. both bedrooms had just a wall closet. now, i'm living in north scottsdale with 1100 sq feet, walk in closet, bathroom linen closet, and a huge living room. yes, they could have designed the kitchen better though, somehow. I think of all the apartments i've lived in, this kitchen is the smallest. it does lack cabinet space. But, since we don't have a lot of linens, the linen closet in the bathroom is our pantry.
parking can be an issue and even i agree, they screwed this up. this isn't this manager's fault that there is a lack of parking, its the fault of whoever designed the property. On weekends, once i come home from work on friday, i never use my car until work on monday. because my husband's car is newer, he gets the covered parking, so we use that car.
honestly, no matter where you live, you will have your share of issues. you can live in the most expensive, most high class complex ever and people will still find something to complain about. in my opinion, the few negative things about this place are so small that they do not make me want to move.
i love my apartment, i love my neighborhood, i love my living room, i love having a dining room. until we buy a house, this is where we plan on calling home.
