This place is finally sold and now I just heard from one of my neighbors that they told another resident of the complex they have 2 weeks to vacate her apartment and move. Apparently the buyers are going to keep telling the residents to pack up and get out because they are going condo.

I think the question is where people are going to move to' It is a big expense and a big pain to have to move someplace else, especially when most places in town are going condo. I have heard that most places that were once apartment complexes and have now gone condo aren't selling at all.

The management here doesn't even talk to the residents and seem to want to keep the condo conversions secret. Who is going to want to buy a condo in this place' All they are doing is throwing new paint on the walls and the plumbing isn't all that great.

Apartments that become condos are also not affordable. The ones here will be way overpriced and nobody currently living here will be able to afford them. As a result, the residents are being forced out of their apartments. I guess the people that bought this place will learn that they won't be able to fill this place once it is totally converted. A conversion also won't solve the parking problem or other nightmares that plague this place.
