Usually a lot of apartments have negative comments on this site but they are isolated depending on what each person has experienced/ I never thought that meant I would experience the exact same unfortunate circumstances.

The biggest concern is their announced inspections of the apartment where they are just entitled to come in with a few days notice. I have nothing to hide, but do not want someone inmy apartment who could potentially steal something or look through my things. How is this managed' If they really only want to look at the general condition of the unit, why can't they make an appointment and come when you are home'

However after dealing with numerous stressful situations created by living here, I decided to read the recent posts to see if anyone agrees with me. I'm not really surprised, but the 6 or 7 most recent posts outline exactly what I feel is going on and the details are identical.

The workers start very early in the morning and sound like they are pounding on the ceiling with a hammer and are waking us up every morning, even on Saturdays when most of us have our days off. They are working so hard to make these apartments look nice for the future residents that they don't care they are disturbing the current residents but we appear to be unimportant because the goal is to make these apartments look like luxury apartments, not to care about the residents paying rent so the apartment can afford these so-called upgrades that we won't ever get to utilize.

Once they have created circumstances so that all the current residents are forced to leave, the new residents can come in and pay higher rent and enjoy all of the landscape, new pool, and updated apartments. They claim these changes will benefit us down the road, but everyone will have been required to move out or will move out on their own by then due to the unbearable noise, leaking ceilings and construction. Management does not want to be bothered with this because it does not affect them. They do not have to be woken up to this day after day. These apartments are now being leased for $950-$1,000 per month, but with all of the disturbance and lack of concern for the residents, what would make someone stay here as opposed to going to another nearby Scottsdale apartment where they could quiet and facilities they can use'

All of the lights outside the apartment doors have burned out and at night this could make residents uncomfortable walking to their apartment from their car, especially if they come in late at night.

I moved to these apartments because the rent was SO LOW for North Scottsdale. And no wonder, it's totally ghetto. They let ANYONE in, no way have they been doing credit checks on people. Now they are renting them for $900 to $1150, and are going to up our rent from $700 to $800 to the new price. Can I afford to pay $250 - $300 more per month in rent?? No. So that will be how they get us to leave.
