DON'T DO IT!

The Edge (formerly The Lofts At Grayhawk) is now condominiums, and are rented for owners by Trillium Residential (a subsidiary of the company SELLING these "condos"). While some of the floorplans are admittedly nice (got ME to move in here) and everyone at Trillium are consistently breaking their arms patting themselves on the back at what a "first rate complex" this is;

DON'T DO IT!

This complex couldn't honestly be called a first rate complex by anyone currently living here. Management is as incompetent and inept as the day is long. The complex is noisy as well as infested (ants, crickets, roaches and scorpions running everywhere). For a "gated community", the gates are usually broken 2-3 months at a time. You can't call this a 'gated community' when the gates are broken practically 24/7. Shingles blow off roofs in storms and are never repaired or replaced. Shingles I watched blow off roofs last year are STILL missing. AC units are the cheapest, noisiest, leaky units money could purchase. The staff rides around on golf carts that make high-pitched whistling noises ALL DAY LONG. I've seen trash that will remain on the property for weeks, until I go over and pick it up. Property damage is rarely if ever repaired. Trees that lean the slightest from the wind or storms are NOT staked but rather ripped out by the roots and never replaced. Everything in front of the OFFICE and SALES CENTER is always perfect, but the rest of the property is substandard.

If you go in the office and complain about ANYTHING, they look at you like you're from another planet. Any problem you make them aware of, regardless if 20 other people have complained about the identical thing, they will reply "this is the first we're hearing about it". Of course, the problem is rarely if ever fixed or remedied. There ought to be a law that the company SELLING the apartments as condo's can't be allowed to MANAGE them too. Trillium Residential have little to NO regard for tenants. Their only concern is SELLING the units and catering to OWNERS. The term "tenant" doesn't even enter the equation.

There have been 3 or 4 "Managers" (and I use the word loosely) since I've lived here and they were all absolutely and completely useless. They also outright lie about the amenities here. Practically everything they tell you they 'have', means it will be here at a FUTURE DATE, or you can go to their 'sister property' Venu for that particular amenity.

For the money you will spend to live here, [and trust me, you will not get what you pay for], there are many other complexes you could live at that would not only value your tenancy more, but actually deliver what Edge CLAIMS to offer but absolutely doesn't.

Don't let 'Exclusive North Scottsdale' location in the majestic "Grayhawk" area fool you. This could be a complex in downtown Mesa by comparison.

I would urge anyone considering renting here to THINK TWICE.
