After living a year

Well, I wrote a previous review.
At the time they apartments above mine were completely abandoned. I think they forgot they had them open and let them sit. It was fabulous, it was so quiet etc. I didn't have any scorpions cause I always ask for extra bug spray.
After a couple months it took a turn for the worse. My neighbor who was my friend started taking pills and went crazy. Two people moved in above us and withint the first week of thier residency she'd called the cops on them three times!!!
She then sent someone to slash one neihgbors tires and there was an arrest made out of her apartment. She was not kicked out and continues to harrass all of us with her dog that tries to kill others and incessant calling of cops. ITS CRAZY.
I can hear the person above me as if he's in my house. That, I don't mind, I just run a fan at night.
The staff as many have said are completely incompetant and have not removed this lunatic from her unit yet. WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR SHE IS SLASHING TIRES IN THE PARKING LOT!
If you think you are going to be in a North Scottsdale atmosphere, you are wrong. It's just the same as any other 'plex, with trashy people and non-trashy people.
However.
I love the sunlight that streams through my windows each day. The house is perfectly next to my wonderful job, and I love the location very very much.
But there are crazy ass people who are not being kicked out. There is an ongoing fued between owners who rent thier unit out themselves and trillium. Trillium will cuss at you if you come into the office trying to complain or do something if you do not rent through them. Even if you do rent through them they don't care cause they are idiots and just want to make money.
They are inexplicably incompetant. But we have AMAZING security gaurds. Which is good cause the gate is always always broken.
Always.
There are alot of black widows all over, however. I was surprised to not hear about those. The security gaurd tells me she kills them all the time near the pool. There is one on my motorcycle and there are a few on the stairwell near our front entries.
I had only one scorpion in a light fixture, but I have a way with desert insects.
Oh, and not to mention the desert is the most ebautiful place in the world.
So people who dont like scorpions, dont live here.
Scorpions, jackrabbits, coyotes, and rattlers are all a part of desert living. Now I'm finding Black Widows are too.
I love the black widow on my motorcycle but I am forced to since I dont have the heart to kill sucha lovely arachnid. There was one on my porch which was quickly disposed of for fear of my dogs.
Oh yes, this is a very very VERY animal friendly apartment. And CLEAN VERY VERY CLEAN
Everytime th rain spats dirt all over the parking lot, they bring in people to clean it up promptly. They have a dog-poo picker-upper. Etc.
Yeah.. thats about all I can say. That and they are pretty safe with double locks and double paned windows. and lots of sprinklers. Otherwise, not great but perfect for me due to location.
All apartments seem to suck pretty hard and compared to others Ive shopped or lived in, this is the best of all time.
