I am moving out of this place at the end of the month. While I have not had problems with roaches, I have had Scorpians, and constant ants. I do have pest control come in and spray, but was greeted by ants last time I tried to eat ceral. I rate the staff as very nice, but I have to wonder if this place is having financial problems. So many units are empty, and it has taken forever to finish the fitness center near the pool. I moved in a year ago and the pool near me has been closed for almost the whole time. I have an outstanding view, but I can hear the guy next door snoring at night. Thank god the next door neighbors are a family, if they were not you could hear everything. I can also smell what they are cooking in my bathroom!

Parking is not a problem, but overall, I rate this place very low to rent. I pay way too much to live here that is why I am moving.

Finally the biggest gripe I have about them is how they handle rent checks, they send you your bill, and then expect you to mail them off immediately. I travel a lot and if I send it out 2 days before the first, sometimes I get socked with late fees. I guess paying almost $1200 a month is not enough.

When rent is due on the first, it means just that. Late fees are incurred starting the second of the month. It is your legal obligation, per your contract, to have your rent paid on or before the first of each month. It seems to me that this concept could not be more clear.

Actually, inthebiz04, most leases have a 'must be postmarked by the first' rule. I dont know about these because I rent through a private owner. In response to the post, I smell my neighbors cooking too! And I can hear every word! They play 90s rap all day.
