If you want to know what its like to be awoken by 19-32 cops surrounding your neighbors door, tasers in hand, then live here. If you want to know what its like to live next to someone the cops have been trying to find for 1 full year, live here. If you want to smell dog poop and pee all the time outside, then live here. If you want to hear your neighbor as if they live with you, then live here. If you want to hear kids partying alllll night and people leaving their dogs out on the porch barking their heads off all night, then live here. If you want to be berated by office staff, treated like crap even though their paychecks come from your pocket, live here.
But if not, try and find somewhere. They charge you an outrageous arm and leg, more than some houses in the area rent for. It was probably the worst experience of my life. It started out good, then it turned into a ratsnest. The trash btw is constantly overflowing.

Agree with you wholeheartedly and congrats on getting out of this dump. Not just a ratsnest, but the first "slum" of North Scottsdale and Grayhawk. Trillium/Avenue RUINED this place with their greed, mismanagement and ineptitude. I'm a current four year tenant and will pay the exorbitant fee to end my lease here early and escape the overflowing trash, broken gates and parking lot sinkholes that are allowed to fester in excess of ten months, with still no repair. To all reading these reviews: STAY AWAY FROM EDGE & TRILLIUM RESIDENTIAL AT ALL COSTS!

I can second everything you said except the amount of cops at one time though it wouldn't surprise me. A few weeks ago I did watch a stand-down with 4 whacked out shirtless dudes that required eleven cops. Two of the guys got tazed before they were arrested. Pretty sick to see. I talked with a sargeant afterward who said the Edge alone gets more calls than all the apartments and condos in 85255 combined. A huge problem is the drugs available here and then the people who find out and tell their friends who then drive in at all hours of the night through the open gate. A lot of times it is also for situations that the Edge management won't handle too. Like last month when a girl in my building had her dog attacked by a larger dog who ran up from nowhere. Turns out the owner was 20 yards behind with her other two dogs. When the owner of the hurt dog went to the office the apartment manager told her that she couldn't control how peoples dogs behave. A real genius that one! Anyways the cops had to come to enforce the Edge's own rules of dogs being watched and leashed at all times when outside not to mention no more than 2 per unit. I could write a friggin book report here but just know that you and your pets aren't protected here.
