I moved in here in August of 05 with extremely short notice and they seemed very accomidating for my overnight needs. I pulled in on my move-in day with my life packed in a truck ready to sign my lease and get my keys and they held me up for almost 2 hours stating the approval process had not been completed and they didn't know if I qualified or not.. So we had to sit outside and wait in the 112 degree weather..

Then in October, the apartment above me had a pipe leak and cause paint blisters in my ceiling, which burst and flooded my bathroom. In order to fix it they were required to cut into the ceiling through three layers of drywall/etc (I could see the bottom of the apartment upstairs) directly over my shower (the entire size of it as well). I had a six foot hole in the ceiling over my shower for almost two months before they finally fixed it. The only way I could get them to jump on it was to contact Mark-Taylor corporate and get upper management involved. In return for my "short inconvenience" as they put it, I was offered one week free rent for 6 and half weeks of showering with a hole over my head.

Then there was they day they gave me a 10-day notice for forgetting to pay $7.00 in tax on my rent/water for one month.

Then I thought things were finally fixing up around there and I was oh so wrong.. My washing machine has flooded my apartment for no reason SIX times now and each time maintenance claims to fix it, the fire sprinklers are falling out of the ceiling, the faucet in the shower is popping out of the wall, the counter trim is calling apart.. To name a few things.

I'm appalled by the fact that this place charges the horrendous prices that they do and they are so cheaply built and maintained. For what I pay I can have a 2 or 3 bedroom within a 5 mile radius of this property that is much more taken care of.
