The Palladium (formally Alexan) is a complete JOKE! The property manager and assistant manager are both a pain to deal with and rude, but Diane (leasing rep) is an utter delight, it's all part of their plan to coax you into moving here. The clubhouse has a pool table, big screen, and coffee bar, but CLOSES at 5pm daily which leaves no time for working individuals to use it! The pool area (with jacuzzi) closes at 10PM, and the management fails to mention most of this until they get your lease signature. If you don't leave the pool area immediately at 10 sharp there will be an eviction warning on your door for sure and the SWAT team, ATF, FBI, CIA and Mr. Rent-A-Cop will be waiting there for you. Lose your remote, there's a $60 charge to replace a $3 remote! This place is BS! THERE'S A 60 DAY NOTICE TO VACATE requirement, which they purposely fail to mention until your pen is touching the signature line and the movers have already loaded the truck. No other rental company in town requires 60 days, the standard is 30! There's a jerk of a rent-a-cop (plain clothed) who thinks he's a real police officer or something when in reality he's a nobody! They like to hand out eviction threats (10-day compliance letters) like candy because they are on a power trip here or something. This place will kiss your a** until you sign the lease (starting at $900 a month), then treat you like you are living in a prison. The place is gated like a prison and has a guard on duty who follows people around, so go figure. I would have to advise against moving here for the reasons mentioned and because the units are VERY small especially for the price. The only thing good about the community is location, but there's always SAN MARIN (managed by Aimco, a much better company) next door. Take a look there first, they are the same price, have a better overall appearance and hopefully are less nitpicky! So, if you do plan to move here (Palladium), don't breathe, don't make a sound and don't step outside of your apartment. Moving here would be a HUGE mistake! Now, if you are the type to like the 'prisoner' in your own home effect, then move here. Mark-Taylor, the real estate rental shark has made me decide to NEVER rent again after this. Mark-Taylor Residential Inc. is pathetic and I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy!!!
