I LOVE it-- but market price IS WAY TOO MUCH for size

positive: OLD TOWN SCOTTSDALE!!! Nightlife, restaurants, ev. walking distance
we always get complimented on how nice our apartment is on the inside
considerably quiet- we do not hear our next door neighbors, only
occasionaly the footsteps above. Mostly young professionals
negative: We were lucky enough to get our lease when the prices were WAY lower.
MARKET PRICE!!! we have an incredibly small apartment for 2- 732, and the
market price is outragous- 1100-1300/month! Guest parking difficult to
come by at times. The parking garage gets
annoying if you live on a higher floor. the Speed bumps are MISERABLE! Yet
people still fly over them and around the corners way too fast.
indifferent: no complaints about mantanance or mark taylor management.
I am VERY worried about what is going to happen under the new management.. what will the mantanance crew be like' if we have to pay market price or even more than 5% than our current lease, even the great location will not be worth it and we will have to be forced out. :(

You are not alone. Everywhere in North Scottsdale and downtown Scottsdale is going up. There is no rent protection. I don't know how they are going to keep tenants when the pay scale does not match up in this area.
