Three months....no sleep!!!!!

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007
Thankfully, we only stayed here 3 months. SO NOISY we didn't had a good nights sleep the whole time. No insulation in the wood stud walls and single pane windows. The complex was such a joke we nicknamed everyone there and counted the days until we left. We had Thumper upstairs who stomped around day and night. The two Boomers next door and upstairs next to Thumper who thought we wanted our apartment to pulsate to their base music. You can actually hear the people talking in the next apartment!
The Noisies who would start staggering down the street past our unit, always hollering, at around 2:30 a.m. until about 4:00 a.m. Then they would come into the halls and scream and beat on the door until someone let them in! And this was EVERY night!
Our apartment was next to the dumpster. Anytime day or night when someone threw garbage down the shoot it would bang loudly. And the smell was getting bad. We were thankful we were leaving before it got really hot and really smelly.
The rest of the complex was also weak. They did have a pool room...but no balls! They kept saying they were coming! The pool room and the community room were always locked. The small pool was always dirty. Mostly because the Birdlady that lived above the pool would throw birdseed out her window and feed the doves. There was bird crap and feathers everywhere! We would also find everything from whole potatoes to french fries to broken glass in the pool. They took the jet nozzles out of the hot tub and the slightly warm water shot straight up in the air!
We only had a couple of dealings with the office staff. We had our only toilet plug up and they told us they would come tomorrow or the next day to fix it! Fortunately, we got it unplugged ourselves. We lost a remote and key and they replaced them after a three week wait...for $105!! We travel extensively and this was by far the worst place we have ever stayed. It's obvious that they lure people in with the illusion of amenities that aren t really there and the noise is unbearable! AVOID THE PALLADIUM!!!
