Keep all your paper work! From: lincolnblows Date posted: 11/13/2007 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007   Make sure to keep all of your repair slips that the aprtment staff gives you. When we moved out, they "lost" all of ours and charged us for shoddy repairs that they had made while we lived there. It's not my fault if they can't grout a floor properly, but I'm sure as hell not going to pay for their mistakes. It finally took 2 letters and threating them with the Better Business Bureau for them to refund us for damage done to the apartment that we didn't do. Keeping the paper work is especially important if you moved in while Mark Taylor ran the complex. Apparently, (unbelievably) the Lincoln staff can find everything from the Mark Taylor files except items that will save you money! Also, don't forget to get your deposit for the gate openner and the pool key fab when moving out. If you don't ask, they won't give it...
