After writing my initial negative review, the new property manager contacted me (a very nice person) and arranged to promptly have the issues I was having with the unit itself taken care of. All the issues I previously mentioned have been corrected.

The complex is currently undergoing renovations (painting, some trim replacement) which, while welcome, I view with some distrust as I feel the renovations will more than likely be used as a device to drive the rents up even further. At the present time, I feel have been priced out of living here, and thus I will continue to explore complexes a bit further south for something both larger and less expensive.
