Not the Best of N. Scottsdale

The complex is located in a quiet and very nice part of town. Landscaping is nice and maintained regularly. However, management of this complex was difficult to deal with. The complex imposed weird rules on residents like no furniture on patios.
Our first floor patio was enclosed by a wall and we had a short loveseat located on the patio. It was completely hidden from view unless of course you walked up the landscaped embankment to our patio wall and peered over. We received a notice of eviction if the furniture was not removed within 48 hours. A little extreme if you ask me.
There was also no leeway on late rent and if you happen to make a mistake and bounce your rent check...lookout! They tack on all sorts of fees and insist you pay by money order for the remainder of your lease. The front office is always closed, doesn't adhere by posted hours and manager is always rude.
Apartments are filled with outdated appliances and fixtures. The diswasher caught fire our first night in the apartment. You can hear everything through walls and ceilings including babies crying and residents peeing in their toilet upstairs!
For the money that they are asking for, you could find a much nicer apartment complex!
