I lived at Carmelita for 2 months and it was the worst 2 months of my life. When I moved in, the apartment was dirty and in need of so many repairs. There were holes in the walls and they never redecorated the apartment when I moved in. The apartment also had cockroaches in the place. The grounds are ugly. Most of the tenants are ghetto. In fact, I never felt safe at those apartments. I even witnessed my neighbor arrested by the police and the SWAT team.

The manager never responded to my questions and she always started problems with the residents. She accused her tenants of getting involved in fights and/or destroying the grounds. Initially, I needed to rent a furnished apartment but then, I got furniture. It took her a month to get the furniture out of my apartment. Incidentally, I moved out the same day she decided to remove the property furniture. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Move to Sterling Pointe...the price is better and the staff is worth it.

Gosh, its all true. I lived there ONE MONTH and had to get out. I feel much safer where I am now and my apartment is MUCH nicer.

These apartments are the worst i have ever lived in.. for one the landlady karen is a real -----... she complains and complains about everything and everybody!!!! but when you have a complain or a problem she doesnt do anything about it she even gives you attitude. The apartments themselves are ugly and our over priced, they look like their cheap motels or something... the walls are cement and one of the rooms doesnt have a wall that closes all the way, it stays open a few feet.. weird... well if you're thinking of moving here think again there are much better apartments for the same money or cheaper and you dont have to deal with all this --------... you should try Las Brisas Apts down the street... as for me im getting a house, after these apartments i will never live in apartments ever again !!!!
