Do not live here!
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 5/18/2008
Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008
I have lived here for about 2 months so far and I can't wait for my lease to be up! In the 2 short months I have lived here I have had more problems than all the other places I have lived combined. I do not feel safe here, or feel like my concerns are taking seriously.
If you want more details:
When I moved in the dishwasher flooded my kitchen the first time I used it, the toliet flooded my bathroom the first time I used it, 6 lightbulbs were burned out, there was used soap in the shower from the previous tennant, hair in both showers, "dirty" toilets, food still in the fridge, hard crusty spots on the carpet, crayon on the walls, chalk on the walls and floor of the balcony, a jammed disposal, etc. The manager said she would "get right on it" but never came back and never called so I finally went to her and she said she "forgot". When they finally did fix it, I came home several hours later, around 10pm to an unlocked apartmen.
Since then, the manager has said she was going to do numerous things and has failed on those as well. I did my laundry here twice and both times people left their clothes in the drier at least a hour after they were done, when I was sick of waiting I took them out and laid them on the folding table, and put mine in. When I came back down, my clothes were still wet because someone had opened my drier and put a note in that said "Don't ever 'f-ing'(real word used) touch my clothes again" The second time I went to the manager, she told me to take them out and she would add that to the newsletter. In the newsletter she said NOTHING about the laundry. Since then I have been going to the laundromat. The past five nights I have not gotten any sleep because of yelling and fighting neighbors. When I call the night number they told me I have to call the police and that they do not deal with noise complaints! When I asked one of my neighbors to quit yelling (it was 11:30 pm) he yelled back "Shut the 'heck'(real word used) up" Also, when I went to use the pool the light in the pool was hanging out of it's spot and laying on the ground - I opted not to swim that day.
