Ok, I've been in this apartment for less than 3 months and some of the stuff that has gone on is absolutely insane!
First, I moved in this dump in May, when I moved in, the apartment wasn't very clean, the carpet was covered with bleach stains, the AC didn't work, there is STILL a short in the hall way switch and one in my bedroom closet, when it rains water leaks down my ceiling (STILL)and the 2nd bathroom toilet overflowed immediately.
I have made repeated attempts to get maintenance on it, and they finally came and fixed the AC unit like last week, which took them 6 hours to complete - literally.
As if that wasn't bad enough, they never "fixed" the toilet correctly, and when it overflowed 3 days ago and I soaked all the water up (yep cuz I live upstairs and my neighbor wouldn't appreciate having water pouring down his ceiling) I took the towels and put them on my porch to dry out, and got a non-compliance letter for it - well maybe if they'd fix their apartments there wouldn't being soaked towels on banisters . . .that and they complained about my pet because he's not too bright, got his head stuck in the trash can lid and was howling because I couldn't get it off, so I got a letter for that too . . .

My suggestion to anyone thinking about moving in here . . .DON'T!!! The rent is high (I have a 2 bed 2 bath and it's almost $700 a month), the maintenance is good when they get around to it for hte most part, but the management sucks and the main manager is a real -----.

Oh, just as a thought - after writing my review I came across a nice letter on my door this morning, stating that they are willing to bargain to let me out of my lease this month and be in "good standing" with them as long as my apartment is clean and not damaged . . .imagine that! I think this was the ONLY time they were prompt in doing anything besides writing nasty letters!

So I have a question. You diss the maintenace hardcore saying that if they fixed their apartments then you wouldnt have so many problems but then you say "the maintenance is good when they get around to it..." so which one is it? Do they suck or are they good? You contradicted your self and I just need clarification.
