It took maintenance three months to fix my jamed lock on my door. I had to go in and remind them. Also noise is a problem and they don't do anything about it with numerous requests.

Ah, the noise...a simple fact of apartment living. Short of having two foot thick granite walls, we will hear the neighbors. So here's my take -- YOU be the good neighbor! I have one neighbor that hasn't a clue about closing the door quietly and another that is a big ol' boy and walks around in his apartment with all the grace of a rhino, but that's life. If I don't like it I should buy a house! If they happen to read this maybe they'll think about being more considerate. Someone else complained about the bird noise. Mountain Steppes has the same problem, as do the other apts. It's mainly a seasonal problem and there's little that mgnt can do. I suggest that you buy a fake owl and put it outside your door. Might clear that problem right up! Lastly, observe the golden rule. Over two years in this complex - treat the staff and maintenance crew with respect and watch how they react to you......

I agree with glenn616. I have always been friendly to all staff. My door had a jammed lock, too. I had my roommate call it in and the lock was fixed while I was at work. Plus, what really can u do about birds? God isn't part of the staff so complaining may not work. Next time, try praying.
