I lived in Garden Plaza for six months in a one bedroom one bath apartment...when I moved in it seemed to be very clean, and in good condition. Upon moving in I discovered that not everything was in as good of condition as I thought is was. The pipes that connected to my kitchen sink were not connected correctly, so every time I turned the sink on the cabinet below it filled with water...I called to have it fixed...nobody came. My husband had to fix it when he came home from deployment. They allowed my pit bull to be there which was a good thing, but there where multiple dogs in the building, belonging to the other tenants "permantent visiters" whoom were not on the lease and all of those visiting dogs would relieve themselves right in front of the building for everyone to see and the owners not picking it up...and since my dog was the only dog that was suppost to be in that building...I got blamed for it and had to pick it up to keep from either having a my deposit not given back (which was $300 refundable/$300 nonrefundable..just to have a pet in the apartment) or having to get rid of my dog. The AC worked very well...in the living room only, I had an up stairs apartment so it was very VERY hot, and with no AC in the bedroom it made it almost unbearable to sleep. The water heater only kept the shower warm for 5-7 minutes then the hot water disappeared. The kitchen appliances were way out of date, the coils on the stove would not stay in properly, and there was not enough storage space. There is little to no lighting in the apartments, so you would need to buy lamps(especially for the living room). A lot of people come in and out at 4am and are very noisy, but the slightest noise you or your pet make you have complaints. The grounds, were kept up fairly well. The playground was decent, just watch your children on the wooden equipment, they may get splinters, it is very old. If you like to play tennis, go somewhere else the court there SUCKS and is not kept up at all. Parking is horrible, if you don't pay for the covered parking...people have people staying with them or they have parties all of the time making the few parking spaces they have unavailable. The complex was very close to base which was very nice for my husband... Over all, it wasn't that bad there...I don't feel that I got my moneys worth out of...if the apartments had some upgrades it would not be a bad place to live at all. SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV
