The staff at the facility is unbelievable. My wife and I arrived to the apartments late Wednesday night before Thanksgiving. Most of the apartment facilities were not available to show us their facilities, but Las Brisas was available for showing, able to immediately get us into the an apartment, and stay late (the night before Thanksgiving) to ensure that we were ready to move into the apartment. Parking was never an issue and always close to the apartment. It was well lit which provided peace of mind if my wife came/went after dark. We never had a problem hearing our neighbors on the ground level, but would occasionally hear people walking above us and low "bassy" music. This is also one of the few facilities that has grass in the area and the groundskeepers are seen daily working on the facility. As far as safety (as far as I know) is that not a single vehicle was broken into to. In addition, a number of Border Patrol agents and Sierra Vista Police officers live at the facility. It is also less than a half of a mile to the Sierra Vista Police Department. The apartments are have a fenced perimeter as well.
Military TDY personnel who have the ability to live off post should definitely consider this apartment complex. It is approximately four miles to the East Gate allowing a smooth and fast drive to post. It is located a quarter mile from HWY 90 allowing for 55 mph straight shot to the post.
We lived at this apartment for four months. There was absolutely no issue with breaking the lease because of our TDY status. Just ensure that you provide notification no less than 30 days out. In summary, they were honest and let you know there expectations. In return, they expected the same.
We also had our English Bulldog and he was welcomed and accepted at the facility without prejudice. He loved it just as much as we did. Thanks for a great experience.
