Not too bad, just high priced

We moved here sight unseen due to a sudden move. The grounds are gorgeous, especially at first. The landscaping is well done and the area feels fairly safe, especially for children. The swimming pool is usually clean, but there have been some issues with that area. We've had green pool and spa numerous time, and it took two weeks for the spa to be cleaned after some idiot put bubble bath in it. The laundry area is pretty nice, average on pricing with $1.25 a wash and $1 a dry (it went up two weeks after we moved in.) You really only have to compete for the laundry on Wednesday evenings usually. The noise levels aren't too bad and I live on a lower level apartment beneath toddlers who run everywhere upstairs.

Terry is always pleasant to me. I presented a problem to, rather upset but tried to stay calm and since then she usually has maintenance fix stuff for me half an hour after I ask her. Dean has been pleasant as well. Your mail and packages are safe here.

When I first moved in we didn't have blinds on our door. It did take them awhile to get those. The apartment wasn't overly clean and the carpets appear better than they are at first. Once you walk on them old stains appear in huge brown blotches. Kind of gross looking. The furnishings in the apartments is old 80s style, sometimes not in the best repair. The beds are rather uncomfortable.

Parking is an issue especially at night, unless you pay to have covered parking. It's very worth the extra $10. The rent, however, is a bit too high for what you get here. The apartment isn't huge, though is liveable. You're looking at nearly $1000 a month for what I'm accustomed to going for maybe $275 in my old town. (Avg decent rent there was $400-500 for example.)

Now, I've had better experience than friends here have had. One has a hole in her roof that rains in her apartment whenever the monsoons hit. It was there through all of monsoon season and still hasn't been fixed, last I heard. The community itself is pleasant though. Unfortunately, after 6 months here my rent is going up even higher and I'm hunting down a new place. If you make the money to cover it, it's not a bad place to live. You just end up feeling like you're paying for the landscaping more than the apartment.
