We rented here last July, and at first glance it seemed like a great apartment complex, we were even told by management that there was no deposit! A few days in, we noticed the paper-thin walls (we could hear people's conversations both through the bedroom and the kitchen, as well as by the entry).

Not only that, but everyone was supposed to have assigned parking - yet someone was ALWAYS parked in our spot. We made several complaints about it because the only other place we could park was on the opposite side of the complex! They said all they could do was leave a note on the car saying it would be towed.

About a month and a half into renting, we saw a note taped to our door stating that we owed a deposit of over $200 plus extra charges for every day the deposit had been late since the date we moved in. Now, let's back track - we were told that there would be NO DEPOSIT - we were told over the phone and in person, NO DEPOSIT, and then we're getting charged' My husband confronted that person, and she said that she DID say there's a non-refundable deposit, and another of her co-workers chimed in saying that that person would never lie about such a thing. So they had to contact the main manager, and he said that there IS a deposit, however, they never let anyone move in without paying the deposit. Strange, since we had been living there for nearly two months AND were told nothing of the sort. End result - we had to pay the deposit, just not the late fees.

Not only that, but two of my husband's friends who were also living there had no idea about the deposit either and had to end up paying as well.

This apartment complex needs to get its stories straight.
