I just moved out after living in one of their unfurnished apartments for 4 months TDY, and I was very happy with the property. IF all of these complaints I've read were actually as bad as they sounded, the problems have been fixed. That or you just happened to have some bad neighbors, which could happen anywhere. The management was extremely friendly and helpful and the maintenance crew fixed the only two problems I had less than 24 hours after I brought the issue up. Although some of my neighbors MIGHT have been low-income, I would never call them ghetto. They were very nice if you weren't too stuck up to get to know them. I never felt unsafe in either the apartment complex or the surrounding area, and frequently went for walks at night to get some air.

TDY's are treated differently (meaning better) because they pay $66/day instead of monthly. This being said they are the only ones who get maintenance's attention right away. Others must live with leaking roofs and roaches. And if managment is friends with someone who has criminal history they will approve them. This includes people with felonies and drug related crimes.
