Do not rent here

The only good thing about this apartment complex is the leasing agent Angela. She has been there since I first moved in and was extremely helpful. However, the property has gone through numerous changes in management since I signed my lease. Things went down hill around late April. Dog poop could be found everywhere. I used to see someone going around picking trash around the grounds but lately there is trash everywhere.
There is no place to drop your outgoing mail. It has been broken since before I moved in and has never been fixed, so you have to drop your mail in a basket in the office.
The hours of the office have changed a lot and they usually closed the office before 6pm, even though that is when they are supposed to close. This was especially frustrating when I needed to pick up a package and I couldn't until the weekend because they closed early.
The excericse room is open 24 hours, however a lot of stuff is broken. They had the eliptical machine duct taped together. The treadmills are old and the weight unit could only be used by one person at a time because it was missing parts.
I never had a problem with maitenence fixing things in a timely manner, however my friend there had to wait almost 3 months for her toilet to be fixed and it was only fixed after she told them they should pay her water bill since they never came to fix her toilet from running constantly. It was fixed the next day.
Graffiti has been popping up consistently. I think some of the problem is due to the type of people they have allowed to rent. Many people moved out around me in April and all the people who moved in where noisy, messy, and couldn't keep their children in line.
My experience started out great and after 5 months it became clear to me that I no longer wanted to stay in this complex because of the rapid decline of the management, up keep, and who they allowed to rent.
If you do want to rent, make sure you talk with Angela, because she is great.
