Well I've been living here for quite awhile, when it was formerly "The Commons" and then "Villas on Apache".
What I do have to say is this- your paying for location, and nothing else, if your a college student, its great, supermarkets nearby, gas station, the campus is right DOWN the street...
Unfortunately because it is your "typical" college housing- comes with all the fun perks such as drunken madness, loud parties and the occasional brawl. But it can also be great if you can work around that.

I have been living here 3 years, with roomates- unless you KNOW these people or get along great, its far too crammed and will more likely than not become a disaster.
I did once live with 3 roomates, was a disaster, not that I had trouble with anyone, but the fights amongst one another or people stealing ---- did get pretty bad...
Living Alone with my own room is nice if you can manage to get a roomate who is similar. I'm a fairly quiet, studious person and so is my roomate so it worked out great.

There is security walking around the complex- also if you can try to get an apt in the center rather than on the outskirts as it'll have a bit more light and life.
Landscaping is alright, I know they work on it, but unfortunately there are some people who will throw their cig butts or beer cans outside, its not often, but it happens.

The Interior is nice- DONT let the model fool you haha, management has clearly invested a lot for it to look so beautiful.
The appliances are new, I've had one slight problem with the dishwasher and it was fixed. When things are broken the maintainance is great- nice guys and get things done. If lots of work orders are in, then it might be a bit, but nag, it'll get things done more promptly. The drawers and cabinets are like cardboard, so they break easily, and I've mentioned it on several occasions- maybe they'll upgrade to granite one day.
Point is I recommend getting your own room- makes life easier :)
