So Glad to Get Away

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008
This place was okay in the beginning, but soon turned bad. Drugs were a major problem, I think the person next door sold them since tweakers constantly knocked on my door asking if I had anything to sell. Our stuff was stolen. Cars were always being stolen or broken into. It was really loud- the doors and windows are so thin any noise inside can be heard outside, and vice versa. One neighbor enjoyed very very loud music at all hours, and we could hear it as if it were in our apartment.
Maintenance took forever. We had a flood in our apartment from the upstairs, and it took them 3 weeks to do anything about it. They did comp us... 50 dollars. We had a flea infestation while the flooding occurred, and they knocked holes in the walls, undid our sinks, left us with no hot water, and were confused why we had problems. The apartment we had to move into afterwards had a broken stove, dishwasher, and the shower didn't stay heated.
All in all, I have never been more happy to leave.
