Eastridge

Eastridge is definitely worth the money! The location is great for both students and professionals-- just minutes from ASU (you can easily ride your bike to campus) and were also right next to outlets for the 101 and the 60.

The apartment complex is set way back from the main crossroads, which makes it feel much more secure and private, and parking is covered, which is really welcome in the Arizona heat! The apartments, themselves, are nice inside--really roomy 1 bedrooms with new carpeting and ceiling fans that make up for the old 80s style kitchen and bathroom!:-)
My only complaints are concerning noise--trash removal for the shopping center beside us begins sometimes as early as 4-5AM and is unbelievably loud, and yard work (mowing, hedge-trimming, leaf-blowing) starts right under your window at 6AM every Monday.

This is fine for early risers, but can suck when youre trying to sleep! The walls are pretty thin, as well, so expect to hear the conversations of people passing by your window at all hours of the night, and expect to become pretty familiar with your neighbors--and his or her pets-- habits.

The noise aside, the complex is pretty incredible--the office staff is very friendly and accommodating--they know you by name when you walk in, have great move-in specials (I got the first two months free with 0 down!), and often have events and parties where you can enter raffles to win discounted rent or even get a month for free.

Maintenence is very prompt (they are fixing my dishwasher as I write this)and efficient.

The grounds are very pretty, and the pool and hot tub are always clean.

Oh yeah, and did I mention that that you get a free gym membership at Pure Fitness just for living at Eastridge' Check it out-youll be glad you did!
