I lived in this apartment in 2006-2007. I paid my rent on time - every month. All I wanted was maintenance issues to be resolved and friendly courteous staff. I did not get either. To top it all off, they sent me to collections claiming I owed them more money - They never bothered to contact me first. I left the unit cleaner than it was when I arrived. Right out from my door was a useless patch of grass. It had trees and a giant drainage grate right in the middle. Too bad the drain did not work and it was flooded half the time. The laundry room was large but very expensive. They installed a pay card system that often took your money.(This was because the machines were broken into on a regular basis). The appliances are archaic and walls are super thin. The staff is unhelpful at best. They hire women based on their looks and personality, not on their knowledge. Sure, an apology is nice, but how about taking some action to resolve the issues.
Also note that the units in no way resemble the 'show' unit. They use a never lived in apartment to showcase. Be sure to see the EXACT unit you will be moving into before signing anything.
The one saving grace is that I had so many complaints with them that the manager finally said "If your unhappy here then why don't you just move - we can end your lease early". So I did.
If you want a headache and your credit report ruined - go for it.
