I moved in when the apartments were brand new, still being built. I loved them from day one. The staff was great, the apartments were nice and cozy. I lived in 3 apartments and 1 townhouse, I would still be there if the place had not gotten over ran with ingnorant people. That was after 6 years of living there. I never encountered a roach problem, but there are a lot of kids that just didn't care about anything and neither did their parents. I feel that the community is for young adults with children and not someone trying to settle down in a quiet community. I did have a problem with my car getting broken into 2 days after I brought it, but I loved the fact that there were police always patrolling the complex and saw it happening. I also found great and reliable childcare in the community. I really wouldn't knock it, I would just say it is not for everyone.

U sed to live there 2000-2001 they were and probably still are letting too many people with section 8 in seems since they were getting the rent monthly from atleast the state could have painted some downstairs apartment patios looked like dirt bombs hit them I had a small roach problem, kitchen sink water was wayyyyyyyy too hot, and walmart was around the corner I liked that part but cops are hiding down the street at the university of phx college they will get you if you go like more than I think 25 mph, The staff was nice when I was there, great location, But cops were there like almost daily due to men beating up thier wives and girlfriends used to be holes probably from fists on the closet doors then the woman would take them back making if hard for people like me that wouldnt deal with that crap so we moved, and on new years was gunshots in the air but that can be anywhere, I heard after I moved someone got shot, glad we were gone.
