I have lived here for almost a year now and yes we live in the dreaded BACK END of the complex, but overall it is a decent place to live. I really appreciated the fact that they got around to putting up some brighter lights in the parking area because the old ones were pretty dim and visibilty was pretty poor. The fact that they make you pay for covered parking is pretty lame but then again, since not many people pay for covered parking, i think everyone pretty much has their own covered parking spot. Havent really had any bug problems since we moved in except for the ants outside, but thats their home, as long as they stay out of mine, im pretty content. Plus it goves you something to do on Saturday with your magnifying glass. No roaches or anything like that, mice, nothing. The garbage disposal broke a few times and water went everywhere, but we managed to fix it on our own with the exception of one time they had to call the rooter guy out so he could snake the line. He said its pretty common to find a lot of crap in the lines around apartments because people will run stuff down their garbage disposal thinking its will obliterate anything you stick in it when in fact he stated, "Most common apartment garbage disposals are not able to handle the amount or type of stuff common renters are convinced they can handle." Hence the reason I wasn't too upset about the garbage disposal. (My girlfriend did put a lot of vegetable stuff down ours.) I rarely see the police here and when they are it's usually only for a little while and then they are gone. I did however notice that when certian tenants left the complex, as in either evicted or otherwise, the police presence was a lot less. It seems to be a pretty low-crime area and the only thing you really have to worry about is the stinky dumpster when tempe's finest trashmen decide to skip your dumpster, again, not the complex's fault.
