I had a problem with roaches in my apartment. Despite all my complaints I was told to expect them since this was Arizona after all. And then I was told that "at least we don't have a problem with scorpions" by the office manager. Nice! This is an okay place if you don't mine section 8 housing which they neglect to tell you about when you're signing a lease. There are tennants that leave garbage in front of their doors, on their porches and balconies and there is an occasional trailer parked in the back. The lighting is poor in the back/south parking lots. It's only a matter of time before someone gets struck by a car speeding through there. The appliances are outdated and need to be replaced. The walls are paper thin. The stairs vibrate into your apartment. There are "special people" that live here and roam around aimlessly. It's some sort of haphazard state-run assisted living program. If you're lucky you get to hear them rant and rave. You'd be even luckier to live near one of them. Overall, I'd have to say your money would be better spent living somewhere else and I cannot wait until my lease is up.
