These apartments were built in the 70's and remain the same.

Dark veneers in kitchen, narrow oven (small kitchen), light veneer in bathroom; nothing has changed in 30 years.

Surveillance service is "horrid".

Surveillance comes by at the same time everynight and is deplorable about "responding" to calls and reporting them to management.

Many cars have been stolen (because of close access to freeway) or broken into (maybe that's because they know what time "surveillance" is coming around).
As far as maintenance goes, one person does that and does a great job.

The only problem is that the place has a "cooling and heating system" that runs by hot or cold water.

Expect several water breaks throughout the year which means you don't have heat on the coldest days/nights or cooling on the warmest days/nights because the system uses the water to heat and cool the apartment.
If you think you are getting a great deal by having utilities included; think again.

You will be paying about $100 more than an apartment that does not have utilities included, yet your average utility bill would only be about $45.
As far as management goes, they don't like to hear complaints because they can't handle it.

The parties are loud and the fights are often.

Don't think that by telling management or calling "surveillance" it will help.

This place needs work and it isn't going to be happening soon.
