I loved living at Fernwood. The maintenance guys were so friendly. They would always get my work requests done right away and done right the first time. They were always smiling and happy to help. The office staff that was there at the time was amazing. I don't know who they have in there now but when I lived there they took care of everything right away too. I have lived at other places that took forever to get something fixed, but not Fernwood. They were always so happy to see me and made me feel very special and that they were happy to have me living there. They would do a party for all of us almost once a month. It was nice to spend time with my fellow neighbors. They did fun stuff too, carnivals, BBQ's, yard sales, free professional portraits. The manager also did a monthly community meeting that kept us informed of what was going on at Fernwood. The apartments were huge. I could fit everything I had in there and I still had room when my roommate moved in. The grounds are beautiful, lots of trees, and green grass. I wished there was a washer & dryer in the apartment but coming from someone who doesn't like to do laundry, the laundry rooms were always kept up (those great maintenance guys =)and the machines worked so it didn't bother me to do laundry. I was able to purchase a home, contributed partly to the savings I received from having my utilities included (which was great!), so I have since moved from there but I miss it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment.
