I lived in these apartments when I went to elementary school, junior high and high school.
They were dated, however, well maintained.
The landscape was always gorgeous, and theyhad two seperate complexes, one for adults without children, and one for adults with children.
Then they passed that law where you cannot discriminate against families with children.
Anyway, back in the day it was a great place to live.
Quiet, secure, nice neighbours, on-site maintenance, clean pools, nice exercise rooms, and on-site secure storage.
I visited this apartment complex, based on memories, to rent a unit.
I went on a tour, and the place became so barron, and hideous.
Most of the units are empty, the apartment I viewed had non-working appliances, and though it was hot, their air conditioning wasn't working.
The general appearance of the 4610 property (across from the 4540) was scary.
It looked like the hood.
There were all sorts of people working on cars, garbage, bottles, the laundromat looked like someone was living there, the exercise rooms are nolonger there, the play ground area had broken glass all over it.
There were little kids roving in gangs, climbing on the dumpster, of all places!
I am highly dissapointed.
The rental ladies was out there, too.
She didn't seem put-off or worried about correcting her tenants or fixing any of the appearance problems.
