When I was looking for an apartment five years ago, I was looking for the most spacious at the best price. The apartments are really large with plenty of closet space and the rent is very reasonable. Not very high standards when evaluating apartments, I know. But over the years it was very easy renewing the lease as I just plain liked everything about the place. The grounds are very green and well-maintained by Arizona standards, the other tenants are all very considerate of their neighbors and very friendly, and the staff and management are very professional. I have referred three people to Fernwood and would not hesitate to do so in the future. The only complaint might be that the apartments' kitchens need some updating, but weighing all of the factors and it is obvious that the trade offs fall firmly in Fernwood's corner.
