I was unhappy, management didn't care.

My main problems with this complex came by the fact that my neighbors often played loud music late into the night and even after having the Tempe police file a complaint, management seemed very reluctant to kick them out. Their favorite thing to tell me was "If it happens again, let us know and we will take care of it." I don't know how many times I heard that one.
Second problem, was that we had problems with vandalism at the complex and when I stressed the need for security, management seemed to not take my concerns seriously.
Last problem, I usually pay rent through credit card for convenience. Finisterra decided to start tacking on a "credit card" fee to all rent payments made in this way. As most educated people may know, this is strictly prohibited by Visa and Mastercard. Even after Visa reversed the charges they had imposed on me, they continued their practice on other people. I started paying by check to avoid this rip-off but as far as I know the managers at this place still don't have a clue.
Well, it is a really nice apartment complex, but only from a casual first look. It truly was not a fun place to live and knowing that resident problems are a very low priority to the managers is depressing. Keep looking for a place, if you move in here you will have wished you had heeded my advice.
