Horrible for what you pay

Let's just say this apartment complex has some major issues. The corporate office considers this complex to be a "jewel" but the majority of current and previous tenants wonder what they would consider a problem complex. The office staff has only 2 people who care-Jan and Pricilla, but Ray, the manager, overrides their decisions all the time. He is never around on the weekends when alot of things happen. The maintenance staff is great-Ernie the manager is great, just don't ever deal with Jake. Also, you better pray that nothing breaks or leaks because it takes them a full day just to get a plan of action together. Do everything in writing and make someone in the office sign a copy, even filter changes. Also, keep track of all contact made with the office to make sure things are done correctly and in a timely manner. The parking lot lighting has taken over 4 months to get replaced and they had to put in more speed bumps because of the excessive speeding in the parking lot. If you have more than 1 car, good luck finding a spot close to your apartment and most people can't park their cars correctly. I wouldn't rent here again but we are stuck in our lease. The complex does offer a "lease buy-out" of $2,000 but this is reported to credit bureaus and destroys your rating.
