Finisterra Apartment Homes

I lived in Finisterra from June 06 to September 07 and I was happy with my apartment. Other reviews are right when they say there is a loud side and a quiet side, loud is to the east and quiet is to the west. I lived on the first floor and noticed the celing to be very thin. Just normal walking could be heard and if there was an argument or singing up stairs I could here it.
The positives: The landscape is nice, never had any parties or loud music around me. Parking spot was right in front of my balcony. Staff was nice and never had an issue with late payments but I always paid on time. My electricity bill was really cheap in the 50's and was left alone through out the year by staff and maintenance.
Negatives: Ceiling was really thin, cuboards are kinda cheap, there is no pad under the carpet and almost feels like your walking on cement. The tile around the tub gets mold on it easily. And finally I had ants invade my place on two occasions, so don't leave any dog bones are soda on the counter because they come from anywhere and there are a lot of them. And the worst had to be the water pressure. Couldn't notice in the sinks but the bathtub and shower was pretty bad. The cold water would probably take an hour to fill the tub and hot water probably 30 minutes and the building did lose complete water pressure twice but was fixed within hours.
I moved out because the market was cheap and I was tired of renting but I would rent in finisterra again. One thing I noticed was there were a lot and I mean a lot of "india"ns in my building. Not that is was a problem but I definetly felt like the minority.

Dude..i wonder what made you write that last statement. I just don't understand whether you should mention categorically about a particular community.. esecially when it's not a problem.
Well, if you take my advise don't ever think of going to Silicon Valley..i guess you woul know what i mean!

Thank you for your review! I chose a 2nd floor because of the thin celing you referred to. 2 LCD TVs were stolen from the gym last week!!
I like the place and I will recommend it to a friend!
