Galleria Palms

 

I had an overall good experience with Galleria Palms.

The office staff and maintenance staff is very responsive.

If you treat them nicely, they will respond the same way.



The main negatives I have are with the high population of college party students that do not respect the 10:00 noise curfew.

I have complained to the management, which always took care of the problem.



The partiers also tend to leave a lot of trash (i.e.

cig butts, beer cans, food wrappers, etc.).

Last week there was a lot of trash near my building, so I complained to the staff.

One of the office staffers went to the actual offending apartment and made them clean it up within minutes of my complaint.



I asked the staff for more vegetation near our south-facing unit, and the head maintenance man, John, told us he would see what he could do and let us know in a few weeks.

The next day, there were four new bushes planted, which have beautiful flowers at different times of year.



Our rent increases were $0 for two new year-long leases.

The only increase came when we had to go month-to-month at the end.

That was only about $60 more.



One more potential negative is the turnover in office staff.

Only one is the same as when we moved in (Misty, the manager), but I really have no complaints about the new staff.



Parking is never a problem (except for our space being between a large minivan and pickup truck).

Visitor parking has never been an issue except for party nights (Friday and Saturday during the fall and late spring).

The gate does nothing to deter outsiders from coming in at all hours.



One last word of caution...take an upstairs unit, as we could here noise from upstairs at all hours.

The walls are relatively thin, so if it is quiet in your unit, you can here conversations in the adjacent units.



Overall, with the responsive staff, I highly recommend this complex, and have no qualms recommending to friends and family.
